関西を拠点にした理由のひとつが 日本のカルチャーの濃さでした。
関西では着物を着ている人をよく見かけます。その時に、あぁやはり日本は良いなぁと感じています。
そんな時代を経て変わっていく景色のなかに、オーセンティックな日本を大切に思う侘び寂びを表現したく、着物の女の子を描かせていただきました。
今回の京都芸術の駅では会場を静かに案内してくれるはずです。（DAICHI MIURA）
One of the reasons I chose to be based in Kansai is the richness of its culture.
Here, it is not unusual to see people wearing kimono in daily life, and in such moments I am reminded of the unique beauty of Japan.
Amid landscapes that continue to evolve with time, I wanted to capture the sense of wabi-sabi—the quiet appreciation of authentic Japan—by depicting a girl in kimono.
At the Kyoto Station Art Festival, this figure will serve as a gentle guide throughout the venue. (DAICHI MIURA)

その後、広告や CM などのディレクション、住居などのデザイン、ブランドのプロデュース、イラストレーション、アートクリエイションなど創作の幅を拡げる。 旅がベースのライフスタイルから世界の様々な文化や自然との対峙を経て、環境問題への取り組みや地域活性など社会活動にも力を入れる。
Daichi Miura began his career as a fashion designer, creating costumes for artists and actors. He later expanded his creative practice into advertising and commercial direction, residential design, brand production, illustration, and art creation.
Rooted in a lifestyle of travel, his work reflects encounters with diverse cultures and natural environments across the world. These experiences have also informed his engagement in social activities, including environmental initiatives and regional revitalization.
