繊細な鉛筆の線によって描かれた一対の龍。
二匹は互いに呼吸を合わせ、まさに「阿吽の呼吸」を体現するかのように、
響き合う姿を見せています。
龍の爪によって破られた部分には、
古来より受け継がれてきた京藍染の布地が貼り込まれています。
深い藍の色は、日本の伝統が持つ力強さと静謐さを象徴しています。
ストリートの自由な感性と、
伝統工芸の確かな技法が交差することで生まれた、唯一無二の作品です。
「阿吽」は、異なる世界をつなぎ、
新たな表現を生み出す“出会い”そのものを表しています。
This pair of dragons, rendered in delicate pencil lines, embodies the very essence of “A-UN no kokyu” – the harmonious, unspoken connection between two beings. They resonate with each other, their forms a testament to perfect synergy.
Torn sections, seemingly rent by the dragons’ claws, reveal a deeper layer of Kyo-ai indigo-dyed fabric, a craft passed down through generations. The profound indigo hue symbolizes the strength and serenity inherent in Japanese tradition.
This is a truly unique work, born from the intersection of the free-flowing sensibility of street culture and the time-honored techniques of traditional craftsmanship. “A-UN” represents the very “encounter” that bridges disparate worlds to create new forms of expression.

日本国内以外にロサンゼルス、パリでの個展、各国でのグループ展に参加。
Shinnosuke Hariya creates his works primarily with pencil, drawing inspiration from street culture, Japanese culture, manga, anime, games, and films. In addition to his activities in Japan, he has held solo exhibitions in Los Angeles and Paris and participated in group shows in various countries.

その後、染司よしおかへ入門。五代当主 吉岡幸雄氏に師事。染色の技術を磨き、正倉院宝物の復元に携わる。
染司よしおか独立後、大正時代に滅びた京藍を復活させる。
2023年（令和5年）に妙心寺桂春院に「京藍壁観図」を奉納。 国内外の様々なアーティストや企業とコラボを実施し、京藍(KYOAI)を世界に発信している。
At the age of 22, Riku Matsuzaki encountered indigo dyeing in New York. Upon returning to Japan, he comprehensively studied the craft in Seiyo, Ehime Prefecture, from sericulture and hand-weaving to traditional Japanese sewing. He later became an apprentice at Some-shi Yoshioka, studying under the fifth-generation head, Sachio Yoshioka. There, he honed his dyeing techniques and was involved in the restoration of treasures from the Shosoin Repository. After leaving Some-shi Yoshioka, he successfully revived Kyo-ai (Kyoto Indigo), a tradition that had died out in the Taisho era. In 2023, he dedicated the “Kyo-ai Hekikan-zu” (Kyo-ai Wall-Facing Diagram) to Keishun-in, a sub-temple of Myoshin-ji Temple. He actively collaborates with a variety of artists and companies both in Japan and internationally, sharing the beauty of Kyo-ai with the world.
