概要
Overview
This special installation is an experience designed to quiet the mind and provide the strength to move forward powerfully. On the sculpted back of Toma Rose—an artist active internationally as a singer, actor, and ikebana master—Reverend Ittoku Yokoe of Yotoku-in Temple (a sub-temple of Myoshin-ji) will inscribe the Heart Sutra with heartfelt, stroke-by-stroke devotion. There are no words; the only sounds are the brush and the breath. In the silence of Zen, the supple, powerful vitality of the body converges, illuminating the brilliance of what it means “to live in the now.” We hope this singular spectacle brings peace to your heart and awakens the hope to walk your own path in life.

Special Cooperation and Acknowledgements
This profoundly spiritual performance is realized through the deep understanding and cooperation of two exceptional artists. Mr. Toma Rose challenges the limits of expression using his body as a medium, while Rev. Ittoku Yokoe of Yotoku-in Temple infuses the teachings of Zen into his calligraphy brush. Their collaboration, transcending artistic boundaries, is the very embodiment of the new forms of expression GNE seeks to create. We express our deepest respect and gratitude to both artists for making this miraculous moment possible.
