Overview
日常の象徴である京都駅と、非日常の空間である神社仏閣。その二つが交わる京都駅前広場の特設ステージにて、特別なクロストークセッションを開催します。
テーマは「祈りと悟りの対話」そして「日常の中の非日常」。
総本山仁和寺の金崎氏、妙心寺塔頭春光院の川上氏のお二人と、賀茂別雷神社（上賀茂神社）の高井宮司、貴布禰総本宮 貴船神社の高井宮司のお二人が一堂に会します。
私たちの日常に、神道が大切にする「祈り」と仏教が説く「悟り」の心がどのように息づいているのか。二つの心が響き合う対話を通じて、日々通り過ぎる場所や時間の中に潜む神聖さや、精神的な豊かさを再発見するひとときをお届けします。旅の途中に、また偶然通りかかった皆様に、心に残る文化体験をご提供できれば幸いです。
At the intersection of the everyday, symbolized by Kyoto Station, and the extraordinary, represented by sacred shrines and temples, we are honored to host a special cross-talk session on a dedicated stage in the Kyoto Station Plaza.
The theme is “A Dialogue of Prayer and Enlightenment” and “The Extraordinary in the Everyday.”
This unique session brings together Mr. Gishin Kanasaki of Ninna-ji Temple and Rev. Zenryu Kawakami of Myoshinji-Shunkoin Temple from the Buddhist world, alongside Head Priest Toshimitsu Takai of Kamigamo Shrine and Head Priest Daisuke Takai of Kifune Shrine from the Shinto world.
Join us as we explore how the heart of “prayer,” cherished in Shinto, and “enlightenment,” as taught in Buddhism, can be found within our daily lives. Through a dialogue where these two spiritual paths resonate, we hope to offer a moment to rediscover the sacredness and spiritual richness hidden in the places and moments we often pass by. We are delighted to provide this memorable cultural experience to travelers and all who happen to join us.
